Description
We're seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to recruit sales-focused talent (insurance agents) at American Family. In this role, you'll serve as a strategic talent partner to sales leaders, helping attract, assess, and appoint top-performing sales professionals, business owners, and other skilled professionals who drive business growth and customer success. You will report to a senior manager, talent acquisition.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in candidate sourcing and recruiting, including experience recruiting sales talent in competitive markets. You excel at sourcing passive candidates, building relationships with sales leaders, and developing proactive talent pipelines.

Position Compensation Range:

$69,000.00 - $115,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with sales leaders across the organization to understand recruiting needs, workforce plans, and talent market dynamics.

  • Build and maintain robust pipelines of high-performing agency sales talent through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and talent community engagement.

  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies to identify and attract top agency sales candidates in competitive talent markets.

  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to sales leadership by providing market intelligence, candidate insights, and recruiting recommendations.

  • Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates while delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.

  • Leverage recruiting technologies, data, and talent intelligence platforms to improve recruiting outcomes and pipeline health.

  • Represent American Family at recruiting events, industry networking opportunities, career fairs, and agency sales-focused talent initiatives.

  • Develop relationships with professional associations, universities, and external talent communities to strengthen long-term agency sales talent pipelines.

  • Utilize Workday, Beamery, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools to identify, engage, and nurture prospective candidates.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
  • Demonstrated experience and success sourcing and hiring passive candidates for senior-level positions.
  • Demonstrated track record working in and across teams to identify talent needs.
  • Demonstrated experience relationship-building, communication, organization, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and comfort engaging with senior-level leaders across the organization and in candidate pools.
  • Extensive knowledge of clients' business strategies and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for sales organizations and revenue-generating teams.

  • Experience using Workday Recruiting and Beamery.

  • Experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms to identify and engage top sales talent.

  • Insurance, financial services, or corporate sales recruiting experience helpful but not required.

  • To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week. This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth. At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI, Phoenix, AZ; Hopkins, MN; Denver, CO; St Joseph, MO; Englewood, CO; Boston, MA; Keene, NH offices.
