Aquent is seeking a high-caliber Executive Content Strategy & Lead to join the leadership team of our innovative healthcare client. This role is designed for a master storyteller who can move seamlessly between high-level strategic narratives and technical clinical data. You will act as a dedicated partner to C-suite executives and clinical subject matter experts, developing 40-60 world-class presentations annually for global conferences, keynotes, and thought leadership events. This is not a sales enablement role; it is a strategic position focused on shaping the organization's voice within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Speechwriting: Partner directly with senior leadership to develop impactful event presentations, including keynotes, panel moderations, and executive roundtables.
  • Content Development: Drive the end-to-end creation of scripts and slides, ensuring they are at the "right altitude" for mixed external audiences while bringing underlying clinical narratives to life.
  • Strategic Alignment: Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Clinical teams to align on key messages and themes for external speaking engagements.
  • Research & Synthesis: Gather internal and external data, stories, and medical literature to support the development of compelling, evidence-based narratives.
  • Speaker Coaching: Coach presenters on delivery and stagecraft to ensure messages are engaging and aligned with event goals.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead the high-volume development of pre-event materials, speaking proposals, and final decks within a fast-paced, frequently evolving environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: 8+ years in Brand, Corporate Marketing, or Communications, with at least 5 years specifically in the healthcare industry.
  • Executive Presence: Proven track record of working with business, technical, and clinical senior executives to develop high-stakes presentations.
  • Clinical Literacy: Ability to search and understand medical literature to provide strong evidence for presentation messaging.
  • Storytelling Mastery: A creative communicator who can ingest large amounts of siloed, technical information and translate it into a digestible, "non-sales" narrative.
  • Technical Tools: High level of proficiency in Google Slides/Docs and Microsoft PowerPoint/Word.
  • Project Management: Highly accountable skills with the ability to manage 40+ complex projects annually with simultaneous deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience growing annual customer events from hundreds to thousands of attendees.
  • Demonstrable success in securing speaking invitations for major thought leadership events (e.g., TED, industry-leading summits).
  • Specific understanding of musculoskeletal care, pain management, or digital health dynamics.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80 to $95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
