Job Summary
Supervise Project Schedulers in their execution of normal assigned project scheduling and analysis duties. Oversee metrics development and reporting. Lead monthly multi department schedule reviews and provide project and program status reporting as necessary. Manage employee performance and development and provide necessary feedback and corrective action. Provide integrated project schedule management to the Project Controls Organization. Seamlessly integrate project management methodology, processes, tools, techniques, and information management systems from / to the project schedule system to predicatively manage the integrated project schedule throughout the project life cycle. Integrate other subsidiary project management systems with schedule development and management; integrate schedule management processes with the other core management systems; scope, cost, schedule and risk management. Develop and maintain integrated project baselines which represent the integrated project plan for achieving the project objectives. Perform integrated schedule initiation processes using project quality (objective management) and risk management processes. Progressively elaborate the project schedule integrating scope and resource estimating as a function of the project timeline to develop the integrated project baselines. Perform schedule status, schedule assessment, schedule analysis, and generate optimum path forward planning and provide schedule recommendations to the project management team using predictive based (opportunity based) schedule management. Direct the development and progression of the project schedule throughout the project life cycle using acquired Planning and Scheduling Subject Matter Expertise and all of the project management knowledge areas and project leadership. Apply optimum schedule development techniques and management strategy and tailored schedule management planning; tailor the schedule system architecture, apply risk-driven and risk configuration control: schedule activities, schedule logic, activity resource estimates, activity duration estimates, schedule network analysis and expected monetary value and schedule value definition (planned value-PV). Direct schedule assessment and analysis, creating more accurate and successful project schedules and increasing the probability of achieving the project schedule objectives. Integrate schedule development and project management capability and competence using industry standards (PMI, Construction Management Industry, etc.) and best practice application to integrate knowledge areas for optimum application. Lead project stakeholders and the project management team to integrate cost, risk and quality management with schedule management. Utilize effective stakeholder management and communication management processes to extract accurate project data and disseminate relevant and timely schedule information to enhance project decision making. Integrate tool proficiency and versatility in schedule software (P6) and other project management systems to provide tailored information system utilization for the needs of a specific project (estimating management systems, resource tracking databases, risk management system, objective /quality / performance metrics and dashboard systems, etc.) Apply risk and quality management to drive objective based management to increase project performance Essential Functions Required Qualifications For Position Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position Physical Demands The preceding description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required of the position. Salary Range*: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
