Overview

The Program Rep - Naval Shipyard (NSY) & TRF Support will provide support to the Program Manager - Modernization (D684) for coordinating trade support to Naval Shipyards and Trident Refit Facilities.

The Program Rep will be the primary point of contact for PMS392 & 396 and the NSYs/TRFs in receiving support requests and coordinating support with Groton and QP Operations as well as Industry Partners. The candidate will be responsible for forecasting NSY/TRF support work, managing contract tasking, ensuring AMPS loads and/or purchase orders are in place, and other related functions to ensure efficient support to NSYs/TRFs.

Additionally, the Program Rep - NSY & TRF Support, will coordinate Groton & QP Operations support for EB AITs. Working with the AIT Leads, the program rep will forecast Groton & QP Operations support for EB AITs and ensure AMPS are loaded.

Strong communication skills are required. Candidate must be proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.



Qualifications

Required:

    High School diploma / GED or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of shipyard/operations Project Management experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience working in Naval Shipyard and/or Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) environment desired.


Skills

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Periodic business travel to Naval Shipyards, TRFs, and Washington DC may be required.
  • The candidate is comfortable with change and able to adapt to the changing environment.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
  • The candidate must possess strong analytical, causal analysis, communication, organizational, planning, and writing skills under minimal supervision.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasking.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
