Job Description The ideal candidate must be be located near our Jasper, IN headquarters and work primarily from this location. The Customer Order Coordinator is proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and SAP, with strong communication skills and experience providing consultative, customer-focused technical support. This individual demonstrates a strong desire to learn new electronic ordering systems and is committed to driving continuous improvement through order management automation and process optimization. Responsibilities: Review orders for accuracy and prepare them for entry Review contract eligibility for Government orders Enter and change orders Verify Group Purchasing Organization eligibility and creates LIC's Process and support orders received electronically and via e-mail Able to utilize electronic specification tools and load orders into our eOrder portal Communicate with customers, both internal and external, via telephone or email to resolve questions, discrepancies, or incomplete order information Report all incomplete orders into Salesforce for tracking purposes and to manage workload Review incomplete orders in SalesForce and follow up per our order guidelines Support order accuracy and cycle time goals Skills to Perform This Role: Interpersonal Skills Strong interpersonal skills - approachable, advocate to both internal and external customers Ability to build strong relationships Excellent collaboration and team building skills High integrity Fit to the Kimball International culture and values - Rooted in Heart, Ingrained in Trust, Cultivate Craft, Seize the Horizon, Spark Possibility Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong active listening skills Business Skills Detail-oriented Ability to multi-task Continuous Improvement mentality Technical Skills Experience in Microsoft 365 Experience in SAP Qualifications: Educational High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Ability to sit or stand for an extended period Job Requirements The ideal candidate must be be located near our Jasper, IN headquarters and work primarily from this location.
