ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to support diagnostic product development. This lab-based role focuses on testing design improvements for existing assays as well as new designs for novel tests. In this role, success is defined by your ability to independently troubleshoot assay issues, perform laboratory experiments and data analysis, and implement improvements that enhance product performance and customer experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Testing system, assay and component performance including analytical sensitivity, robustness, reliability and stability

* Participate in verification and validations activities

* Design and execute experiments to identify root cause and recommend corrective actions (e.g., formulation optimization)

* Partner cross-functionally to resolve technical issues

* Generate, analyze, and interpret high-quality data under tight timelines

* Draft document

* Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance assay robustness, repeatability, and reproducibility

* Support quality system activities including CAPAs, deviations, change controls, and SOP updates

* Other Duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* BS/BA degree in life science

* 0-2 years of experience in immunoassay, biotechnology, or IVD markets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Hands-on laboratory experience (ELISA or immunoassays preferred)

* Basic data analysis and troubleshooting skills

* Strong documentation practices

* Experience with statistical analysis software, like JMP or MiniTab desired but not required

* Experience working on cross-functional projects or collaborating across teams

* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

* Detail oriented, excellent organizational, strong communication and record keeping skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work across functions and within external collaborations

* Onsite position

* Travel 5% or less

* Must be able to lift 15 pounds
