Job Summary: Oversees and coordinates the repair and maintenance activities to equipment at field sites. Applies electrical theory and related knowledge to test, maintain and modify development or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making abilities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee field equipment set-up, installation, commissioning, repair, and ongoing maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness and contractual performance requirements are met.

  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily work activities, technician assignments, testing, troubleshooting, and repair efforts to support timely resolution of equipment issues.

  • Analyze corrective maintenance data, identify recurring trends and root causes, and implement effective technical solutions to improve equipment reliability and service performance.

  • Provide technical guidance to field personnel using test equipment, schematics, wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals, functional diagrams, and related tools to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.

  • Coordinate the flow, availability, and deployment of materials, supplies, tools, machinery, and equipment required to support installation, maintenance, and repair operations.

  • Develop, maintain, and update operational documentation, maintenance procedures, manuals, work instructions, and records to support consistent execution and audit readiness.

  • Implement and support technical training programs related to equipment testing, rework, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.

  • Conduct quality reviews of maintenance activities and records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contractual, legal, regulatory, safety, and company requirements.

  • Partner with engineering, internal stakeholders, external customers, and field leadership to evaluate operational needs, resolve complex technical issues, and recommend equipment modifications or replacements when performance standards are not met.

  • Manage technician schedules, workload distribution, performance, and day-to-day field service activities to support department goals and customer commitments.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating technical teams in a field service, maintenance, repair, or installation environment.

  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to comply with the Company's standard field practices and adapt to remote field site environments.

  • Ability to perform work on equipment, including bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as required to perform essential job duties.

  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

  • Must be able to travel to field sites, customer locations, or other assigned work locations as required to perform essential job duties. A valid driver's license is required.

Cubic Pay Range:

$92,000.00 - $106,000.00 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
