JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications Office of the Dean is seeking multiple part-time employees to work at the front desk. Duties include:
Individuals must maintain professionalism at all times, either while assisting members or whileworking with confidential information. Essential duties and responsibilities include timely and accurate input of information.Candidate must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Training on use of associated systems will be provided. Work hours can be flexible during theworkweek (Monday-Friday), but the ideal candidate must be able to work a minimum of two consecutive hours per workday three days per week (multiple placement opportunities available). This position reports to the Administrative Support Manager and works closely with the Administrative Support Staff, Executive Assistant and Associate Deans for the Bellisario College. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
