Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Revenue Office team in Newton, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional (0-2 years post-graduation) who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a strong foundation in human resources.

As HR Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to deliver a seamless and positive experience for all employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Operations

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for all HR processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases (HRIS) with meticulous attention to detail
  • Prepare HR documentation, correspondence, and reports as required
  • Coordinate and schedule HR-related meetings, appointments, and events
  • Manage HR inbox and respond to general employee queries in a timely and professional manner

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Team on offer letters and pre-hire necessities
  • Assist in facilitationsmooth onboarding experiences for new employees
  • Ensure all onboarding materials and processes are completed accurately and on time

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Assist with employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and organizational updates
  • Support offboarding activities, including exit interviews, documentation, system access removal, and final pay coordination
  • Maintain accurate records of all employee changes and transitions

Stakeholder & Employee Support

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing guidance or escalating to the SHRBP as appropriate
  • Build strong relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders across the Revenue Office
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills by effectively engaging with diverse personalities and working styles
  • Provide customer-centric support that reflects Informa's values and commitment to employee experience

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and data protection requirements
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as directed by the SHRBP

Desirable:

  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
  • Understanding of HR best practices and employment law basics
  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 0-2 years of professional experience (internships, co-op placements, or relevant part-time work considered)
  • Previous exposure to HR processes or administrative roles is advantageous but not essential

The salary range for this role is $50k- $65k based on experience.
