Description

St. Louis Child Development Center in Biddeford, Maine is recognized as a 5-Star Quality Childcare Center (the highest award there is!), and we have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Lead Teacher.

About the Role: We're looking for a nurturing, enthusiastic educator to lead classroom instruction and curriculum planning, foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment, collaborate with fellow educators, and supervise support staff as assigned.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour. Actual starting salary contingent with candidate qualifications.

Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday

Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in early childhood education or a related degree, preferred; certificate in Child Development accepted. If no degree or certificate, must be willing to obtain.
  • Must be willing to maintain CPR and First Aide Certification, as well as attend the Maine Early Learning Guidelines Training
