Tesla's Energy& ChargingServicesorganizationoperatesandmaintainsdeployed assets including North American residential & commercial solar, global behind-the-meter & front-of-meter storage, and global electric vehicle charging infrastructure.The mission of the organization is to maximize fleet health and delight our customers while minimizing the cost ofmaintainingthe fleet.

The Residential Field Service Quality teampartners with the Field Service organization toimprove efficiency metrics byidentifyingcauses/ trends in efficiency metrics,developingimprovement solutions with Engineering, and implementingUS-widefieldchanges.Exampleefficiency measuresactual field hoursrelativetoEngineering time trial expectationsand therate ofrepeat field visits.Additionalresponsibilities include randomized desktop auditsof field visits to provide technician-level feedback to Field Managers.

TheResidential Energy Service Operations Programsteam is embedded in daily operations, supporting both near-term execution and long-term planning. Team members are expected to partner closely with the business to analyze technical data, provide recommendations, and leadcross-functional decision-making and implementation of the recommendations.


What You'll Do
  • Review primaryinformation from Residential Field Service visitsincluding technician documentation, system performance,site observations,and customer feedback
  • Structureand categorizecauses ofResidential Field Serviceinefficiencies. Monitor trendsandregional-ortechnician-level variations
  • Partner with Engineeringtodevelopsolutionsto improve Field Service efficiencyand customer experience, including newor modifiedprocedures,automations and/ ortools
  • Provide training and support to project and operations teams onefficiency improvement solutions andquality standards/best practices
  • Provide regular feedback to stakeholdersregardingefficiencytrends,processcompliance issues, and procedure, automation & toolupdates that may arise
  • Manage remediation campaigns or proactivevisitsasdeterminedby Engineering with Field Service stakeholders
  • Track performance metrics, prioritize top issues and drive continuous improvement activities with cross-functional teams

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelorsdegree in an Engineering/ Science major ororequivalent work experience
  • Technical understanding of solar systems and energy storage systems and understanding of electrical code/ electrical theory
  • Experience and understanding of customer service, technical support, and engineering environments
  • Fluent with common Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to independently make decisions, prioritize workflows according to multiple criteria, and solve problems with limited direction
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex information and make data-driven decisions
  • Highly organized, self-driven, andhighly reliable. Attention to detail and follow through on execution of tasks. Structured and professional written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

    Expected Compensation
    $72,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
