The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing patient appointments to support efficient operations and a positive patient experience. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and staff to schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient information, communicate scheduling details, and help ensure patients receive timely and coordinated care.

As Scheduler, a typical day might include the following:

• Scheduling appointments based on physician orders and patient needs
• Managing scheduling work queues and In Backet messages within EPIC
• Verifying insurance and pre-authorizations have been obtained
• Communicating appointment details with patients and addressing scheduling inquiries
• Maintaining accurate patient information while delivering exceptional customer service to support a positive patient experience throughout the scheduling process.

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (flexible), Full-Time 40 hours per week
• Travel: Position may require travel to the Clark location once a week for coverage reasons

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School diploma and equivalent. Six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training required, preferably with an Epic and scheduling and prior authorizations background. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills. Familiarity with office equipment such as copier, fax machines. Must demonstrate willingness to learn. Bilingual is a plus.
