About the Role: Digital Asset Management Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Asset Management Administrator to join an innovative team as a consultant. This pivotal role reports to leadership within Digital Asset Management and is crucial for realizing the vision for the platform. You will be at the forefront of introducing a new Digital Asset Management platform across the organization, playing a critical role in its successful implementation and adoption. Your daily contributions will involve meticulous tracking, collaboration with various internal teams and external agencies, and championing the platform's usage. This position offers a unique chance to lead change, educate users, and ensure that all colleagues understand the value and functionality of the new system, fostering buy-in and maximizing its impact on our marketing initiatives and overall business success.

What You'll Do: Responsibilities



  • Support the strategic vision and direction for Digital Asset Management as provided by leadership.
  • Lead the "people side" of change, preparing, supporting, and equipping individuals to adopt and effectively use new business processes related to Digital Asset Management.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to maximize user adoption and usage of required changes, anticipating and minimizing resistance.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications regarding the platform.
  • Perform daily maintenance, review, and delivery of digital assets, ensuring strict adherence to Digital Asset Management governance with support from content librarians.
  • Manage the creation, maintenance, governance, and execution of metadata, facet/filtering, taxonomy structure, and security user/group permissions.
  • Regularly review taxonomy and metadata for necessary updates based on evolving business needs and process changes.
  • Ensure that metadata entries maintain a high level of accuracy, aiming for a 99.9% goal within the Digital Asset Management system.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for the Digital Asset Management platform.
  • Assist in training users and develop clear instructional documents or videos.
  • Monitor content quality to ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Develop standard reports and summarize trends related to asset usage, adoption, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive governance documentation for all administrative processes and setup within the Digital Asset Management system.
  • Build strong relationships with all Digital Asset Management users and actively work to grow and extend platform usage throughout the organization.
  • Ensure all assets and processes comply with organizational branding and standardization guidelines.
  • Perform various other tasks or projects as assigned to support the Digital Asset Management function.


What You'll Bring: Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in administration within enterprise-level Digital Asset Management systems (e.g., similar to leading industry platforms).
  • Strong familiarity with metadata for tagging assets and developing cataloging taxonomy.
  • Proven ability in workflow development, including capturing requirements and developing a strategic plan.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience (Master's degree preferred).
  • Prior work experience supporting Marketing functions in a relevant industry.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and deliver on multiple project deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and effective interactions.
  • Excellent active listening skills to understand user needs and feedback.
