Pay Range: $79,900.00 to $97,300.00 Job Summary We're looking for an early-career Software Engineer who is excited about building applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern cloud technologies. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years of professional experience who wants to develop technical skills in AI, software engineering, cloud platforms, and security. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to build, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications and integrations on Azure. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll gain exposure to emerging technologies such as AI agents, tool integrations, Model Context Protocol (MCP), cloud-native development, and secure software delivery practices. The company will not sponsor employment visas or provide immigration-related sponsorship now or in the future for this position Job Responsibilities What You'll Do Develop and maintain applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services. Assist in building integrations between AI applications and internal business systems. Learn and apply concepts such as prompt engineering, function/tool calling, and structured outputs. Support the development of AI agents and workflows under the guidance of senior engineers. Help deploy and operate applications on Microsoft Azure using services such as App Service, Functions, and Container Apps. Build and maintain APIs and backend services using C#, .NET, Python, or similar technologies. Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving application performance and reliability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Follow established security, coding, and software engineering best practices. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to design and deliver solutions. Job Requirements What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience programming in C#, .NET, Python, Java, or a similar language through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience. Understanding of software development fundamentals, including APIs, object-oriented programming, and source control. Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Experience using Git for source code management. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Internship, academic, or project experience working with AI or LLM technologies such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms. Exposure to prompt engineering, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or chatbot development. Familiarity with REST APIs and integrations. Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions. Exposure to containers, Docker, or cloud-native development. Interest in cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
