Iridium is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Broadcast Services and Network Quality of Service team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will focus primarily on Network Quality of Service from an autodialers perspective, evaluating strategies for optimization of service performance, KPI automation, and systems engineering support for Iridium's portfolio of services. You will also perform system requirements analysis, decomposition and management, functional and performance analysis, system design, system integration, and troubleshooting of network systems, providing significant value to the team. You will excel in this role if you are a team player, are able to understand large and complex systems, and have a passion for finding software coding and design bugs.

• Programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Shell scripting
• Working knowledge of networking protocols, routers, switches, etc.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite
• A solid understanding of tools and software applications that support system engineering best practices

• This position directly performs under, supports, or is exposed to a U.S. government contract. To comply with the requirements of that U.S. government contract, applicants for this position must be U.S. citizen
• Be able to work in the office at least 3 or more days a week to foster collaboration with the team and stakeholders
• Be able to travel up to 10% of the time

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.

Base Pay Range: $115,000 - $150,000 USD

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors and this range represents an estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Base salary is only one part of our compensation package for this role. You may also be eligible for company stock and annual bonus.
