Role SummaryThe Senior Finance Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and business partner responsible for transforming financial, operational, clinical, workforce, and business data into actionable insights that support decision-making, improve performance, and advance organizational goals. This position combines traditional financial planning and analysis responsibilities with modern analytics, business intelligence, automation, and responsible artificial intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical curiosity, embraces emerging technologies, challenges assumptions, validates data and AI-generated outputs, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, forecast accuracy, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnership, analytics, reporting, or decision support. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required. Demonstrated experience using data, reporting tools, automation, or AI-enabled solutions to improve analysis, reporting, forecasting, or business processes required. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare, behavioral healthcare, nonprofit, or human services experience. Experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, AI-enabled tools, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Tableau, Python, RPA, data visualization, predictive analytics, or similar technologies. Experience with data governance, metric definitions, data quality, dashboard development, workflow automation, or AI-assisted analysis preferred. MBA, CPA, CMA, data analytics certification, Power BI certification, or related credential preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong analytical curiosity, communication skills, business acumen, strategic thinking, adaptability, and ability to build productive relationships across organizational levels. Ability to structure ambiguous problems, ask effective analytical questions, develop and validate assumptions, interpret AI-assisted outputs, communicate uncertainty, protect confidential information, and translate technical concepts into practical business recommendations. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and responsible use of technology. Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and proactively seeks to understand the operational, financial, and strategic drivers of organizational performance. Reporting Relationships Reports directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Works collaboratively with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
