About Loews Portofino Bay Hotel

Join the team at this Italian-inspired hotel that is a re-creation of the seaside village of Portofino, Italy.

What We're Looking For:
A detail-oriented, guest-focused Night Room Attendant who ensures our guestrooms and corridors meet Loews' high standards throughout the evening and overnight hours. You'll complete turn-down service, respond to late-night service requests, refresh stayover rooms, and support quick-turn cleans-creating a calm, polished environment that helps guests rest easy.

  • Reliable Team Player: You communicate clearly and collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform turn-down service to brand standards (bed preparation, amenity placement, lighting adjustments, curtain checks).

  • Complete stayover refreshes and late check-in cleans; replenish towels, amenities, glassware, and supplies.

  • Respond to guest requests (extra pillows, blankets, amenities, cribs/rollaways) quickly and professionally.

  • Ensure rooms are secured when occupied or unattended; safeguard guest belongings and privacy.

  • Dust, vacuum, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms using approved methods and chemicals; follow green/sustainability practices.

  • Inspect and clean mirrors, fixtures, vents, and high-touch points; verify proper function of lights, TV, and thermostats.

  • Maintain corridor and service area cleanliness; remove trash and room-service items; reset linen closets and carts.

  • Follow all safety protocols including chemical labeling (SDS), PPE use, and ergonomic practices; report hazards immediately.

  • Adhere to brand standards for room setup, amenities, and inspection checklists; complete room status updates in property systems.

  • Report maintenance issues (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, furniture) via work orders and coordinate access with Engineering.

  • Stock and organize linen closets and carts at shift start and end; conduct counts and minimize waste/shrink.

  • Accurately log completed rooms, special requests, and lost & found items; maintain confidentiality and chain-of-custody.

  • Support quick-turn and late departure cleans to meet occupancy needs; communicate status changes to Front Office.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Preserve the livelihood and reputation of the property by complying with legal policies and requirements.

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or relevant industry required.

  • Previous experience with housekeeping preferred.

  • Familiarity with HOTSOS preferred.

  • Must complete OSHA-mandated safety training within the first 30 days of employment.

  • Position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders, and guests.

  • Position requires flexibility to work mainly Night Shift with potential for a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.

  • Position requires prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling 100+ pounds repetitively throughout shift.

  • Position requires the ability to withstand outdoor elements for long periods of time as needed.
