Sr. System Integration & Validation Engineer, Data Center

Tesla is seeking a Sr. System Integration Engineer to own system bring-up, integration,andvalidation ofdata center platforms. You will lead hardware, firmware, and software integration, build custom test infrastructure, and drive system-level validation to ensure our data center products meet the highest performance, reliability, and safety standards.

• Own end-to-end system bring-up, validationstrategy definition and execution, and characterization ofhigh-performancedata center platformscomprisingofpower electronics, thermal systems, compute, and networking subsystems
• Design custom sub-system level test infrastructure to break down system-level validation into targeted, repeatable testsacrosselectrical, thermal, and functionaldomains
• Debug and resolve hardware, firmware, and software integration issues across complex, high-power systems
• Develop andmaintainregression test suites tovalidatesystemfunctionalities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, thermal, firmware,andelectrical engineering teams to ensure performance, reliability, and safety requirements are met
• Drive continuous improvement in design and performance by providing data-driven feedback to design owners

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in hardware,firmware, and software integration andvalidation, orelectricalsystem/electronics design and debugging
• Strong understanding ofelectrical engineering fundamentalsand thermal management systems (air/liquid cooling, heat exchangers)
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in complex high-density systems
• Familiarity with networking protocols
• Proficiencywith Pythonfor test automation and data analysis
• Proficiencywith EE lab tools (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, thermal measurement equipment, electronic loads)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability toidentifyand surface issues within complex hardware/software systems
• Effective communicator with the ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams
• Preferred:Experience with high-power (50kW+) or high-voltage (1kVDC, 480VAC) systems and data center infrastructure including power distribution, cooling systems, and rack-level architecture
