Temple University's College of Engineering is searching for an Academic Advisor! Become a part of the Temple family and you will have access to the following: Salary Range: $45,000-$52,000 Position Summary The advisor meets regularly with assigned students, individually or in a group, to discuss academic and professional goals and monitor academic progress. The incumbent prepares and presents student orientation sessions and develops, coordinates, and implements educational counseling services geared to improving student success and retention. The advisor helps to coordinate advising with career planning, and acts as an advocate and referral source by providing consistent outreach and follow-up services. The Academic Advisor I represents the College at various related internal and external meetings and events, and helps to position Temple and advising as highly respected and proactive. The incumbent helps facilitate communication of the Vision, Mission, policies and procedures, and academic goals of the College and Temple University while assisting with their development and implementation. Performs other duties as assigned.
