Position Description Role:Plumbing Assembly Location: Franklin, WI Pay: $24.00/hour Position Description: Operators must be able to: Assemble, install, repair and maintain and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Read blueprints, drawings and work order specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system such as water supply networks and waste and drainage system of the HVAC unit Ensuring precise measurements, cuttings, bending and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools such as reamers, copper pipe cutter and pipe thread machine Join and secure tubes, pipes, couplings and fittings through the use of cement, soldering and brazing Test plumbing system for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Work with the Production Lead to meet the standard operation procedures Measure and mark guidelines for proper HVAC unit parts installation Ensure safety and quality measures are followed Other duties as assigned by a member of management Key Responsibilities Required Education & Qualifications Required Qualifications: Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance Ability to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours Ability to reach over shoulders/head Ability to bend at waist and knees Ability to twist at shoulders/waist Familiar with tools Education Requirements: High school diploma of GED required.
