A Day In The Life The HR Consultant II (Family Services) provides Human Resources operational and talent acquisition support through ownership of assigned recruiting activities, employee lifecycle processes, and departmental initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, this role combines hands-on execution with process improvement, continuous learning, and operational excellence while delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. As a HR Consultant II, FamSvcs you will:
- Talent Acquisition
- Participate in all phases of the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned corporate and Family Services positions, independently managing designated recruiting activities based on the position and business needs, including candidate sourcing, prescreening, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding activities.
- Partner with the Sr. Director and HR Manager to support sourcing strategies, identify creative talent pipelines, and build diverse candidate pools for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct candidate prescreen interviews, evaluate qualifications and organizational fit, and recommend candidates for advancement.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to execute recruiting strategies and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, maintain applicant tracking system data, and recommend improvements to recruiting processes and candidate engagement.
- Partner with external recruiting firms and vendors, as assigned, to support hiring initiatives.
- HR Operations
- Apply established HR processes with sound judgment and operational agility, adapting approaches as appropriate to meet business needs while maintaining compliance, consistency, and a high-quality employee experience.
- Progressively assume ownership of assigned HR operational processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, compliance, and timely execution while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Own assigned HR operational programs or recurring processes, monitor performance, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend enhancements that improve quality, efficiency, and the overall employee and manager experience.
- Administer employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, organizational changes, employee documentation, and HR data management.
- Review, prepare, and maintain HR documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, established practices, and documentation standards.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers by responding to routine HR policy and process questions, exercising independent judgment, and escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Administer onboarding activities and continuously improve the new hire experience through operational enhancements and process improvements.
- Independently manage assigned HR initiatives, operational projects, and departmental deliverables.
- HR Consulting & Department Support
- Partner with the Sr. Director and HR Manager to execute HR initiatives supporting Family Services and related shared services activities.
- Exercise exceptional discretion and sound judgment while handling confidential employee, executive, and organizational information.
- Prepare reports, presentations, communications, and other materials that support leadership decision-making and departmental initiatives.
- Monitor departmental priorities, proactively manage assigned follow-up activities, and help ensure commitments and deliverables remain on schedule.
- Identify operational challenges, recommend practical solutions, and implement approved process improvements that enhance service delivery and team effectiveness.
- Build collaborative relationships across business functions while delivering responsive, high-quality HR support.
- Lead assigned components of departmental projects and participate in broader HR initiatives as needed.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field from a four-year college or university Req
- 3-5 years Human Resources experience with an emphasis in compliance programs and/or associate relations strongly or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred

- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI within 1 Year Preferred
