What you'll do

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members while helping support the daily success of the branch. You'll move seamlessly between member transactions, lending conversations, account services, and team leadership responsibilities.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Help members identify financial solutions by conducting needs-based conversations, opening accounts, processing transactions, and supporting lending activities.
  • Coach and support branch team members alongside the Branch Manager while serving as a role model for service, operational excellence, and accountability.
  • Manage branch workflows, follow up on sales and lending opportunities, and help ensure compliance, security, and operational standards are maintained.

Beyond that, you'll collaborate across the organization, build referral partnerships, resolve member concerns, and contribute to a positive branch culture focused on member success.

What you bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong relationship-building skills with operational knowledge and leadership potential. Successful candidates are comfortable serving members, supporting teammates, and adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.

This role is a great fit if you have:

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail, financial services, or a related customer-facing environment.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Previous lending experience.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to build trusted relationships and uncover members' financial needs through meaningful conversations.
  • Ability to process financial transactions, open and maintain accounts, and support consumer lending activities accurately.
  • Ability to coach team members, provide feedback, and support branch performance goals.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations, compliance expectations, and service recovery practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve member concerns, prioritize competing demands, and work effectively in a goal-oriented environment.

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Notary appointment required or ability to obtain Notary status within 3 months of hire.

You should also be comfortable shifting between teller functions, lending conversations, operational duties, and leadership responsibilities throughout the day.
