Now Hiring: Systems Engineer (Electrical Focus)

Location: Valencia, CA

Pay Rate: Up to $70/hour

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong electrical engineering focus to support the development of advanced manufacturing and test equipment used in a highly regulated medical device environment. This temporary contract role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who excels in electrical hardware design, hardware-software integration, automation, and test systems development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support complex manufacturing and test equipment.
• Create electrical system architectures and specify electrical and control components.
• Lead or support cross-functional engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop and verify test infrastructure, ensuring system performance and compliance requirements are met.
• Integrate hardware and software solutions to support manufacturing and product development needs.
• Prepare technical documentation, project updates, specifications, and validation records.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and designers to build, troubleshoot, and optimize equipment.
• Support quality, regulatory, risk, and safety requirements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience (or 3-5 years with an MS degree).
• Strong experience with Python programming.
• Proven background in electronic hardware design and hardware-software integration.
• Experience with verification and validation (V&V) of test infrastructure.
• Ability to bridge high-level system architecture with detailed hardware design.
• Excellent analytical, statistical analysis, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a regulated industry required; medical device experience strongly preferred.
