The largest of the four Duke Healthhospitals with 1062 patient beds, it features comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a regional emergency/trauma center, an endo-surgery center, and more. Work arrangement: Onsite at Duke University Hospital - Part-time 20 hours a week General Description of the Job Class Plan, coordinate, and help manage oncology volunteer & pet therapy service programs and projects. Support volunteer activities to help meet the social and emotional needs of oncology patients and their families during their visits. Work closely with the Oncology Volunteer Coordinator and other key members of the Cancer Patient Support Team, including Recreation Therapists, Child and Adolescent Life Specialists, Therapists, and others. Fully onsite role based at Duke Cancer Center and Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Duties and Responsibilities of this Level:
Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program with one year of experience in program administration or event production. -OR- Two years of postsecondary education with three years of experience in program administration or event production.
