Description POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Avionics Technician Reports To: Production Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Maintenance Location: Arkansas POSITION SUMMARY The Avionic Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, modification, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems across multiple aircraft platforms. This position conducts performance checks of instrumentation and avionics systems to ensure continuous, acceptable system performance in accordance with FAA regulations and King Aerospace policies and procedures. Minimum two years' aircraft repair and maintenance experience in the last five (5) years. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, installation drawings, regulations, and professional journals. Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence and effectively present information to management, customers, and team members. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply mathematical concepts including percentages, proportions, and algebraic principles to technical applications. REASONING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in written, mathematical, or diagram form. COMPUTER SKILLS Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
