DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees the Division of Operations and Communications and supports development of policies, regulations, and operational procedures for the Medical Assistance Program. It requires strong leadership, coordination, and the ability to manage complex program activities. As a Human Services Program Executive 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Division Oversight: Supervise staff and direct work across the Operations and Communications and Procedure Coding Evaluation sections
- Policy Development: Develop policy recommendations, operational procedures, and regulatory guidance for Medical Assistance services
- Program Coordination: Collaborate with federal officials, state staff, providers, and advocates to support program improvements
- Legislation Review: Evaluate federal and state laws and determine their impact on Medical Assistance services
- System Guidance: Direct development of automated system requirements and participate in testing and approval processes
- Regulation Management: Lead the development and maintenance of regulatory and operational proposals and state plan amendments

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Human Services Program Executive 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of professional experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations, including three years of consultative or supervisory experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional consultative or supervisory experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations.
