At Vantor, you'll work with the U.S. Space Force as part of the effort to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Within this role, you will support systems engineering, integration, developmental testing, verification, and sustainment activities for complex space and ground systems. You will develop and maintain test strategies, coordinate and participate in test execution, and manage deficiency reporting activities. Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience performing systems engineering, integration, testing and sustainment for space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs 5+ years of experience supporting Government Developmental Test and Evaluation for space and ground systems 5+ years of experience working in a collaborative team environment developing test strategies, plans, reports, briefings, participation in test execution, verification or analysis, and sustainment activities Experience using T.O. 00-35D-54 and managing databases to track system deficiencies and facilitate meetings to assess operational impacts, root causes, and mitigations to system deficiencies Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2 Knowledge of Deficiency Reporting and the Deficiency process including Government Deficiency Review Board (GDRB) and Executive Deficiency Review Board (EDRB) Ability to define, develop, maintain, and execute large scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents, including Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES), Test and Evaluation master Plans (TEMP), System Integration Test Plan (SITP), Enterprise Verification Plan (EVP), Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM), and Requirements Verification Files (RVFs) Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems Experience with portfolio and program verification, interoperability, or certification Experience with planning, executing, and reporting on Lead Developmental Test Organization or Operational Test Authority (OTA) Organizations Experience with planning and executing program reviews throughout the lifecycle of the system Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines Experience using the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02 TS/SCI clearance Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification Clearance: Secret The position will require at least 2-3x per week on site. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role. * The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $128,000.00 - $170,000.00 - $187,000.00 annually.
