As a Security Officer Armed Entry Control in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations for an armed post. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a government location.
• Monitor entrances, screening points, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, report irregular activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, checking access points, and reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
