Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library. The University seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking, and collaborative leader to advance the Library's mission in support of teaching, learning, research, and scholarship. The Dean will articulate a compelling vision for the future of the academic library and position the Killam Library as an essential partner in advancing and sustaining the University's success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Dean, under general direction of the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, serves as the chief administrative and strategic leader for all library programs, services, and facilities. This role is central to aligning library operations with institutional priorities, supporting a diverse academic community, and ensuring responsiveness to the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education and academic libraries. The Dean is responsible for shaping and executing a collaborative strategic vision that enhances student success, faculty research, and academic innovation. The Dean will:
A salary of $150 - $160k is available to the winning candidate based upon the breadth of experience and the hiring manager's discretion. In addition, relocation assistance to Laredo is available.
