PRIDE Trainer, School of Social Work Located Statewide in Illinois Job SummaryFunded by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS), responsible for facilitating training for the PRIDE Foster and Adoptive Parent Training Program to prospective, relative/fictive kin, licensed, and adoptive/sub-guardianship caregivers across Illinois through web-based, instructor-led, and hybrid learning formats for the Learning and Development Unit within the Office of Learning and Professional Development (OLDP). Physical Demands and Working Conditions Work Schedule, Travel, or Other Job ExpectationsPosition is responsible for securing their own personal desktop or laptop computer to perform the work of this position and is expected to have a designated space where they can host presentations to a professional audience. Statewide travel required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience as a licensed Foster and/or Adoptive Parent with knowledge of child welfare practices in Illinois, or three (3) years of recent experience as a child welfare professional in a public or private child welfare agency with knowledge of child welfare practices in Illinois.
