Goldman Sachs Select ("GS Select")

GS Select, a business in Global Banking & Markets, is part of a growing Third-Party Wealth offering. GS Select serves independent RIAs, Broker Dealers, and custodial partners, distributing securities-based loans and savings accounts through a fintech platform.

Role Overview

As a National Accounts Manager, you will provide exceptional client coverage of GS Select's most important institutional relationships. Operating in a high-growth environment, you will serve as a trusted partner to business leadership to drive sales execution, business management projects, and strategic initiatives critical to grow the business. The role is inherently cross-functional, offering broad exposure across sales, business analytics, client service, and technical platform management.

Core Responsibilities



  • National Accounts Sales and Client Coverage: Serving as the primary point of contact for and providing exceptional client coverage for GS Select's largest institutional relationships, assisting in prospecting and legal contracting activities, supporting institutional client and custodian onboarding, and ongoing relationship management. Understanding the organizational structure of each national account to support senior team members with large accounts and build durable, high-touch relationships that drive platform adoption and deepen wallet share.
  • Sales & Business Management and Enablement: Supporting business leadership with business planning, forecasting, and analytics for the sales team, and executing on client-level reporting and analysis requests. Helping to lead review meetings with business leadership.
  • Marketing: Supporting development and distribution of client-facing presentations and marketing collateral to clients.
  • Due Diligence: Managing vendor due diligence processes.
  • Event Management: Managing logistics and planning for institutional client and industry events, including pre- and post-attendee follow-up.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Executing on ad hoc projects as needed.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in financial services, specifically in client-facing roles. Understanding of the advisor marketplace and private banking experience are a plus.
  • Client Service: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exemplary client service, paired with a commercial mindset and an inherent sense of urgency.
  • Analytical Skills: Use of analytical skills to drive business results.
  • Leadership & Project Management: Strong project management skills with an entrepreneurial mindset; a collaborative, energetic, enthusiastic self-starter who takes a team approach to projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools (including Excel and Salesforce), the ability to manage fintech and CRM platforms, and to master new systems quickly.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills; and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
