Description
The Business Development Sales Representative will be responsible for generating and pursuing leads, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting ETW into assigned markets. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED, Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business related fields, (or) equivalent industry experience;
- * 5 years' industrial, manufacturing, sales/marketing experience a plus
- * Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Industrial areas, with metals experience
- * Strong technical / mechanical aptitude
- * Leadership desire and growth potential
- * Motivation to grow in a dynamic field with a great organization
- * Ability to travel regionally, with potential for international travel as needed
- Valid Drivers License
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Learn our systems, market positions, and technical best fit capabilities to maximize effectiveness of efforts for our stakeholders
- Serve as a technical sales partner to customers by understanding their needs and matching them with our capabilities and solutions.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure successful project execution for customers
- Manage customer engagements, conflicts, and expectations for positive outcomes
- Support and collaborate with the current Sales leadership members, while developing commercial leadership capabilities
- Develop new business opportunities with OEMs, prime contractors, and Tier1 suppliers
- Engage with customer engineering teams early in the product design process to identify manufacturability best fit, and optimization.
- Review prepared technical proposals, quotations, and program strategies in collaboration with internal teams
- Professional presentation and representation of ELLWOOD at all trade shows, industry conferences, and customer meetings
- Travel approximately 25-35% to support customer engagement and industry events
