Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking to hire a Brand Manager to support our exclusive games developed by PlayStation Studios. Reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Global Brand Marketing, this role will work closely with a team of global marketers and partner with a development studio in Los Angeles to craft the brand and global go-to-market marketing strategy for several high-profile games. Candidates MUST have gaming industry experience! - 5 month contract (targeted start - beginning of August) leave coverage for a current employee - mostly remote schedule (onsite 1-2 times in San Mateo) - Pay Rate: $40-42/hr on W2 Candidates must be able to work directly on a W2 without sponsorship. No C2C! RESPONSIBILITIES:* Project Management Ability to own and manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget. Ensure consistent representation of brands' global activations while overseeing tactical execution. Partner with internal marketing teams on collaborative plans and drive strategic alignment. Support major milestone workflows by providing strategic recommendations, helping with presentations, and coordinating stakeholder meetings. Own and update project tracking with clear workback schedules and timelines Support budget tracking and updates with Finance Compile data on key campaign moments and create reports on performance and suggestions for optimization. Creative Management Partner with global cross-functional teams to execute the brand vision and marketing strategies. Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver key marketing and creative assets and programs while ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders. Review creative materials and provide organized, strategic feedback against brand strategy Studio Partnership Partner with a development studio based in Los Angeles on strategic marketing recommendations and executions, securing assets and studio approvals on a variety of internal and external brand activations. REQUIREMENTS: Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders to gather, reconcile, and summarize feedback. Understanding of basic business operations and marketing principles with critical thinking and prioritization skills. Excellent organizational skills. Proactive attitude to track and follow up on projects Excellent collaboration skills, working well with cross functional teams, development studios, and agency partners in high-pressure environments. Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and adapt to changes Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects in different stages and drive to completion under self-direction. Maintain confidentiality with privileged information. Passion for video games, marketing, and gaming. Enterprise level experience.
