Senior Performance Engineer

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience building and supporting high-volume, low-latency distributed applications in Banking, Financial Services, Trading, or similar enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience performing Performance Testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6, including Load, Stress, Spike, Soak, Capacity, and Volume Testing.
• Strong understanding of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) internals, including:




• Class Loading
• JVM Memory Model (Heap, Stack, Metaspace)
• Execution Engine
• Garbage Collection
• Thread Management
• Memory Management




• Experience tuning JVM performance, analyzing GC behavior, resolving memory leaks, and optimizing application throughput and latency.
• Experience using Java profiling and diagnostic tools such as JProfiler, YourKit, VisualVM, Java Flight Recorder (JFR), or Java Mission Control (JMC).
• Hands-on experience analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, CPU utilization, and application bottlenecks.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Splunk.
