Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Korber WMS Consultant with 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Korber (HighJump) Warehouse Management solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT best practices.

This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal IT teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and well-governed WMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation
  • Lead and support end-to-end implementations of Korber WMS (HighJump), including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
  • Configure core WMS modules such as:
    • Inbound / Receiving
    • Putaway & Cross-docking
    • Inventory Management
    • Picking (wave, batch, zone)
    • Packing & Shipping
  • Design and implement process improvements aligned with operational best practices.

Configuration & Development
  • Configure Korber WMS using:
    • Advantage Architect (AA)
    • SQL configurations and scripting
    • Custom workflows, rules, and event-based logic
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Custom labels, forms, and reports
    • RF transactions and mobile workflows
  • Support extensions using .NET (if applicable in environment)

Integration & Data Management
  • Design and support integrations between Korber WMS and external systems such as:
    • ERP systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
    • TMS and automation systems
    • Third-party logistics platforms
  • Work with APIs, Web Services, file-based interfaces (EDI/XML/JSON).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data/interface issues.

Testing & Deployment
  • Prepare and execute:
    • Unit testing
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support cutover activities and go-live planning.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of changes.

Support & Optimization
  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 production support.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, performance bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
  • Work closely with:
    • Business operations teams (warehouse, distribution)
    • IT teams and solution architects
    • Third-party vendors (e.g., automation providers, integrators)
  • Facilitate workshops and provide functional guidance.
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.

Documentation & Governance
  • Maintain detailed documentation including:
    • Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
    • Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
    • SOPs and process flows
  • Ensure adherence to change management and deployment governance processes.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 5 years of experience as a business analysis with Korber.
  • Experience in implementing and integrating systems.
  • Proficient in system requirements analysis, fit/gap analysis, and technical solution documentation.
  • Ability to understand and work toward organizational goals and objectives, collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to align with organizational goals and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Logical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas for various audiences.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with strong prioritization skills.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Experience with business analysis tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in preparing and conducting training sessions is an asset.
