Body Shop Manager - Chevrolet Dealership (Midwest)

A well-established Chevrolet dealership in the Midwest is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to lead our busy, growing collision center. This is an opportunity for a proven leader who is passionate about operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and developing a strong team.

Up to a $5,000 signing bonus is available for the right candidate.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the daily operations of a high-volume dealership collision center.
  • Manage production flow to ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop estimators, technicians, painters, and office staff.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including cycle time, gross profit, CSI, and technician productivity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners while ensuring OEM repair procedures are followed.
  • Oversee scheduling, quality control, parts coordination, and final vehicle inspections.
  • Recruit and retain top collision repair talent.
  • Foster a positive, safety-focused, and team-oriented work environment.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of collision center management or assistant management experience.
  • Dealership body shop experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating platforms such as CCC ONE or Mitchell.
  • Experience managing DRP relationships and insurance claims.
  • Understanding of OEM repair procedures and modern collision repair technology.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
