Your Role

The Healthcare Quality & Affordability (HQA) Project Management Office (PMO) team drives strategic outcomes for the HQA division and executes initiatives including schedule, scope, resource and financial management. The Senior Manager, Project & Program Management will report to the Director, HQA Strategic Planning and Performance. In this role you will provide leadership, oversight and direction of assigned scope within scope of the HQA PMO. Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. A degree in computer science, business, or related discipline is preferred
  • 10 years of project management experience required with 5 years leading portfolio management in a fast-paced, enterprise environment strongly preferred
  • 4 years of direct people management experience required.
  • PMP/PMI or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with business process re-engineering and proven leader with creative solutioning experience.
  • Experience leading projects and portfolios with technology components that involve external stakeholder partnerships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with various organizational levels (from VPs to subordinates).
  • Strong ability to resolve escalated issues and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience establishing project structures, execution roadmaps, and portfolio oversight models.
  • Experience with health plan Provider Networks and/or managed care organization preferred.
  • Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external resources.
  • Ability to report decision-ready information with concise recommendations.

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
