Make a difference in the life of a child as a pediatric specialty nurse at American Family Children's Hospital.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology team:

  • Practice closely with the Pediatric Cardiology team to help care for patients with congenital heart defects.
  • Help provide coverage for clinic visits by working directly with patients, coordinating care, and monitoring clinic flow.
  • Work with the Pediatric Cardiology team to provide telephone triage.
  • Participate in planning for program growth, develop patient education materials and develop quality improvement projects.
  • The Pediatric Specialty Clinic Cardiology division continues to grow, providing new opportunities for career growth and development within our specialty.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Relevant RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Applicable clinical certification Preferred
