Main Duties & Responsibilities

Summary:
PennAero is hiring an Area Manager at our Allfast Fastening Systems location in
City of Industry, CA. Allfast Fastening Systems is a leading global
manufacturer of solid and blind rivets, blind bolts, temporary fasteners, and
installation tools for the aerospace industry. Our fasteners are crucial for
the structural integrity of both commercial airliners and military jets. As a
key supplier to major aerospace manufacturers, Allfast's products support the
commercial, military, and general aviation platforms in production and in
service.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for defining and implementing the appropriate management controls
for the organization. Focuses on short-term goals that include achieving
and maintaining adequate production, quality, and delivery in support of
customer and organizational requirements; and long-term goals, which include
formulation, planning, and implementation of tactical strategies in support of
company objectives.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:

Manages manufacturing supervisors and will provide support for Maintenance,
Shipping & Receiving and Processing Departments.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's
policies and applicable laws.

Establishes and enforces company policies as necessary and actively
participates in the company's safety, health, and environmental programs.

Formulates, plans, and implements long-term goals and strategies. Determines
proper daily pace for production.

Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual goals as set forth in the company plan.

Coordinates and collaborates with Inside Sales Team on customer support to
ensure on time deliveries.

Provides high level of focus on daily operational activities to ensure timely
deliveries within budget constraints.

Sets and implements the necessary controls to ensure quality products are
delivered on schedule.

Coordinates with Quality Assurance in the flow down and understanding of
customer needs to suppliers.

Coordinates status information on projects, shipments, production, inventory
levels, lead-times, and various other status reports as needed.

Creates and optimizes opportunities for cost and lead-time reduction, cost
avoidance, and productivity increases. Includes the establishing and
planning of capital expenditures.

Designs flow path, balance line with proper number of machines design planned
wip inventories to ensure constant flow. Establish standard work for labor.

Develops self and employees by attending seminars, professional organizational
meetings, or conferences.

Provides creative leadership in managing assigned functions.

Projects a professional image to subordinates, peers, suppliers, and customers.
OTHER COMPETENCIES:

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
of managers, clients, and customers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of
Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and
Word Processing software. Detailed command of Power BI

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
Six (6) years minimum related Manufacturing experience.
Minimum three to five years' experience with supervisory responsibility in a high-volume manufacturing environment with applicable experience in an operational role.

Fasteners experience preferred.

Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
