JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Mont Alto - Student Affairs is seeking a part-time staff member (20-24 hours per week) for the Wiestling Student Center. This opening will support the regular operation and maintenance of the spaces in the student center including desk coverage, greeting and interacting with the individuals in the center, providing access to entertainment opportunities, doing rounds and tracking building usage, hosting events and creating a welcoming environment for students. Staff will assist with event promotion utilizing dry-erase and chalk boards and by ensuring the creation and distribution of flyers, posters, digital signage, emails and photos on campus and via social media. Staff will also complete clerical duties including mail retrieval, copying, and collecting various forms. Other responsibilities include assisting with student organizations' needs and requests. This role will report to the Associate Director of Student Affairs or their designee.
Hours may be altered when students not on site. (Official campus closures, holidays, Fall/Winter/Spring break).
