The group you'll be a part of

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you'll make

As a Product Manager at Lam, you will help shape the future of maintenance automation in semiconductor manufacturing. You will define where Dextro goes next, how it creates customer value, and what it takes to scale from high-priority use cases to broad adoption across Lam's global installed base. This is a strategic and hands-on role that brings together roadmap ownership, customer insight, technical judgment, and cross-functional execution. Your work will directly influence how Lam delivers safer, faster, more repeatable maintenance outcomes for customers while building a differentiated services growth platform for the company.

What you'll do

Product Roadmap, Strategy, and Vision

  • Own the Dextro product vision and roadmap, connecting customer needs, technology readiness, and Lam's business priorities into a clear growth strategy.
  • Define high-impact product requirements for new applications, prototypes, task kits, and platform capabilities, supported by strong business and technical rationale.
  • Shape product vision, beta success criteria, release deliverables, revenue projections, and go-to-market plans that accelerate customer adoption.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and business throughout the product lifecycle, from early concept and beta readiness through release and field learning.
  • Partner across customers, engineering, marketing, business development, product support, supply chain, and field teams to turn automation opportunities into executable plans.
  • Communicate strategy, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to executives and cross-functional partners to enable fast, informed decisions.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Prioritize programs, resources, and trade-offs to maximize customer impact, business value, and roadmap momentum across the Dextro portfolio.
  • Anticipate and resolve blockers affecting timeline, scope, cost, customer commitments, or release readiness; escalate with clear options and recommendations.
  • Drive disciplined product management processes, including change control, documentation, release governance, lifecycle management, and field feedback loops.
  • Review and prioritize Problem Reports, BOM change orders, and customer Non-Standard Requests with clear rationale and customer-aware alternatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity to align priorities, remove roadblocks, and accelerate Dextro development and deployment.
Who we're looking for
  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering; or 8 years with a Master's degree; or 5 years' experience with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
  • Product management, program management, or product marketing experiencein a hardware and software integrated product.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor, robotics, and automation industries strongly preferred.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $125,000.00 -$270,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
