THE ROLE: As a Power Engineer in Networking Technology & Solutions Group, you will be responsible for ensuring that AMD's next-generation products deliver industry-leading reliability, performance, and efficiency. You will be responsible for the innovation and design of board-level DC-DC power conversion and input protection. This will require making trade-offs between performance, cost, reliability, and component availability. THE PERSON: You will provide technical guidance and direction while troubleshooting complex power issues.You will drive resolution of issues with CAD, manufacturing, mechanical engineers, signalintegrityand power integrityengineersin developing new boards, powersuppliesand power sub-systems.
