Join our global Environmental and Social Risk team and play a key role in providing guidance on the management of material environmental and social risks. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location. Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Join a team that provides expert advice on environmental and social risks (ESR) in transactions, develops and implements group-wide ESR policies, and contributes to ESG disclosures. In this role, you will support ESR reviews, technical analysis, and monitoring of transactions and clients, collaborate with business groups on new products, and help deliver ESR systems, projects, and policy implementation. You will also prepare materials and training, support key topics such as climate and human rights risk, and monitor sector trends to drive continuous improvement. Salary range for this position: $125,000 - $178,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Ideally 4-8 years' experience in environmental and social risk, ESG, or sustainability, ideally within a financial institution or external due diligence provider Strong understanding of financial services products (e.g. asset management, business banking) and advisory, risk, and capital solutions across debt, equity, financial markets, and commodities Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field; experience in energy, mining, infrastructure, or commodities is a plus Proven ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, with strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders; Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is a plus #LI-EF1 We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
