Program Coordinator Russia and Eurasia Program The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a renowned international affairs institution with headquarters in Washington, is seeking a program coordinator to work with scholars in our Washington, DC-based Russia and Eurasia Program. The REP analyzes political, military, security, and societal developments in Russia, Ukraine, and across post-Soviet Eurasia, as well as U.S. policy toward the region. The position will provide programmatic and administrative support to the Russia and Eurasia program, including the Vice President for Studies and the Program Director. Duties will include developing and tracking program budgets; monitoring expenses; processing payment requests; supporting program initiatives; contributing to grant writing, proposal preparation, and grants management; assisting in drafting and editing donor communications and program materials; tracking project deliverables; managing and coordinating the program calendar and individual calendars, including scheduling meetings and engagements; planning and executing virtual and in-person events including conferences, workshops, and roundtables; drafting and distributing event invitations; and maintaining the program's contact database. This role will also coordinate closely with the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center in Berlin and with other Carnegie programs and departments. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree and approximately 1-2 years' experience in providing logistical, budgetary/financial, grants administration, and events support. Strong writing, editing, communications, and organizational skills are strongly preferred. The selected candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment. Russian language skills and familiarity with issues related to the Russia and Eurasia region are a plus but not required. Located in Dupont Circle, we offer an outstanding work environment and generous benefits (including health insurance). Theanticipated salary range for this position is $52,000 - 54,000. Please note that this position will operate on a hybrid basis, requiring in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
