Logistics Lead

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Establish standard work and support training of team members

• Coordinate labor and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

• Support shipping and receiving operations, including forklift backup when needed

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system deployments

• Identify and address safety hazards through audits and proactive initiatives

• Communicate performance concerns to the shift Team Leader

• Escalate maintenance, quality, and safety issues to leadership

• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste in systems and processes

• Support onboarding and training of new hires

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Other duties as assigned

Position Details:
Plant Location: San Bernardino, CA
Work Week & Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Compensation: $28.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

• No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Physical Requirements of Position:

• Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior SAP experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• TPM knowledge and experience

• Familiarity with inbound and outbound warehouse operations

• Basic understanding of transportation processes

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma systems

• Previous forklift operation experience

• Experience in a lead or backup lead role

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
