Job Summary:

As a Mental Health Consultant at Allina Health, you will find an environment that fosters your professional growth and well-being. You will collaborate with care team members to identify, address and treat mental health needs of patients within the Allina Health system. You will have a team at your home clinic as well as a team of Mental Health Consultants located at other Allina Health clinics.

  • Provides solution-focused therapy to patients independently and/or in conjunction withmental healthprovider.
  • Provides crisis consultation and de-escalation to patients in person and/or virtually
  • Collaborates with Primary Care/Women's Health teams and community
  • Supports patients and primary care team/mental healthproviders in achieving patient care goals.
  • Reinforces providercommunication aboutplan of care.
  • Coordinates care for patients across the primary care, specialties, andmental healthservice lines
  • Assesses conditions related to crisis and life events.
  • Triage patients with knownmental healthissues and provide same-day and short-term ongoing access tomental healththerapy
  • Screens for basic health needs andalignservices toassist.
  • Consults,refersand coordinates interventions in cases of suspected or actual situations of child or adult abuse and neglect or forms of domestic violence or sexual abuse.
  • Identifiesneeds for community or public agency services

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work required
  • 2+ years in licensed practice preferred
  • Licensed Ind Clinical Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work required
  • Licensed Ind Clinical Social Worker - WI Department of Safety and Professional Services required
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource preferred within 60 Days

Pay Range

Pay Range: $35.61 to $48.81 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
