The Territory Vetco Manager, TVM, leads and supports their territory team, Vetco Operation Leader (VOL) and is accountable for assisting in all aspects of the Territory Vetco business including partner and guest experience, services staffing, training and services program implementation. This leader drives his/her business through a focus on the following key result areas which include but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with VOLs to recruit, interview, staff, train and retain all partners within Vetco services.
  • Own the VOL development process.With collaboration from key support areas, design, implement, and continuously improve all VOL's ability to holistically lead their Vetco teams in a manner that delivers our clinic performance in a high and repeatable level, as well as, deliver the financial expectations for their business.
  • In partnership with DGMs and GMs to create and gain alignment on monthly market area strategies, focused on district sales performance, profitability and productivity. Partner with RPSD, MSM and DGMs for regular store visits to support, achieve, and be accountable for overall district and regional goals.
  • Analyze guest, sales, and cost of sales data, make recommendations based on analysis.Oversee the development of the appropriate course of action to capitalize on the opportunities within the markets and districts. Heavy emphasis on recruiting, staffing, and training.
  • In Partnership with dispatch location VOLs review staffing reporting and ensure staffing model schedule is executed to the plan.
  • Review incident reporting and partner with field support leaders and partners on continuous safety improvement.
  • Co-lead Vetco staffing action meetings with VOLs, toensure all commitments by support and field staff are met.
  • Co-lead with VOls and Support Center teams to evaluate clinic schedules for maximum optimization of sales and profitability.
  • Partner in the research, evaluation, and the development of new and existing business opportunities that will lead to increased sales and profit in Vetco services.
  • Co-Lead project execution for new dispatch locations, teams and expansion.
  • Drive the implementation of sales programs and initiatives related to Vetco services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to DGMs and GMs and PCC partners for the implementation and execution of Vetco services objectives in their areas.
  • Partner with Regional Team in management of veterinarian staffing, fees, and operational related opportunities.
  • Develop and oversee the Territory Vetco services maintenance capital and expense planning to ensure all customer touch points are brand correct, partner and animal safety standards are maintained, and Services productivity is optimized.
  • Partner with Support Center, and VOLs in monitoring inventory and fleet asset reporting, ensuring each location is within guidelines.
  • Leverage survey program to instill a sense of pride and ownership of delivering exceptional services experiences to all guests.
  • Act as field liaison alongside the Area Operation Manger (AOMS) between the VTC and VVC teams.
  • In partnership with Regional Team and Support Center Partners to ensure clinics operations follow veterinary regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability and/or physical demands required.   • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. Will consider directly related experience in lieu of education.
  • Fifteen years progressively responsible retail experience is required including five to seven years of previous progressively responsible retail management experience that includes multi unit leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and analytical skills are required.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft office products necessary.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

The majority of job duties are performed while indoors at various store locations. Exposure to hazards is minimal if appropriate safety procedures are followed when handling equipment, products and animals. Approximately 80% of the time (4 days per week) requires regular travel throughout assigned area.
