Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • An active LPN License.
  • A minimum of two years experience in adult mental health direct care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a Recovery-Based team environment.

We are seeking an LPN at our clinic on Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA!



This role is part-time, 8 hours a week - One day a week (except Tuesdays) 9:00 am-2:00 pm.



Earn $32.00/hr.!



General Responsibilities:



  • Maintain LPN credentials as required by licensing agency.
  • Provides nursing support including, but not limited to medication training and management (injections), taking blood pressures, pulses, temperatures, BMI's, general first aid, etc.
  • Assists with prior authorizations, prescription requests, and other medical forms submitted by members or other agencies for completion.
  • Ensures all medications are are stored and maintained appropriately with regular inventory review.
  • Ensures that all medications are inventoried and purged regularly.
  • Assists with medication management appointments with psychiatrist as needed.
  • Provides culturally competent, recovery-oriented services.
  • Educates members about mental illness, wellness and living in recovery.
  • Works in a collaborative manner with all staff and members within the outpatient clinic.
  • Attends all trainings, meetings, and supervisions as required by agency, payer, or licensure body which may include, but is not limited to CBH, MA, OMHSAS, and Code of Ethics for nursing professionals.
  • Provides timely, accurate documentation of all services rendered by submitting accurate and legible required paperwork per agency and payer guidelines.
  • Communicates with members, their families or identified supports, per member approval in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
  • Understands and adheres to all Merakey policies and procedures.
  • Participates in all Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities.
  • Maintains productivity and production expectations as indicated by supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
