RN - Specialized Services - Casual Status - PET Scanner

This is a casual status also known as Per Diem RN position. The schedule varies 7 days per week with a 8 hour shift. We are looking for availability of at least 4 shifts per month. The training schedule would ideally be close to full time hours.

Join Scripps as RN, Specialized Services - PET Scanner department where you will perform stress tests at our center. Additionally, you will:

• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and documents patient interactions.
• Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required:

• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN
• Current California RN License
• American Heart Association BLS for the Health Care Provider
• Must have rapid patient assessment skills and critical thinking skills
• Must be patient centered, flexible and team oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Prior outpatient experience with PET Scanning, Stress Testing and/or Cardiac Imaging
• BSN
