System Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work on-site in Clifton, NJ. *Active Secret clearance or Interim Secret is required prior to starting* Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Hands-on experience with commercial RF/EE test equipment/devices (e.g. signal generator, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, attenuators, amplifiers, etc.) Experience generating requirements at various levels of the system and flowing down requirements to sub-systems/sub-components. Active security clearance, minimum Secret Level Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with Requirements generation and ability to interpret and evaluate requirements from the customer and breakdown for lower level assemblies Experience with data analysis and/or modeling and simulation (e.g. with MATLAB/python) Experience on Hardware Environmental and EMI Qualification testing efforts Experience with concepts in signal processing, logic design, computer architecture. Experience working on aerospace/defense electronic systems (e.g. electronic warfare systems, radar, missile guidance, missile defense) Experience in the System Design of Embedded System Architectures Familiarity with Digital Engineering, sysML/Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), and System Simulation Understanding of Cyber Security best practices Organized and detail-oriented Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
